Writers Power the World. I'm here to empower YOU.

The writing life is not always easy.  Sure, sometimes, it’s a huge rush, when the characters start steering the story, when you finally get that scene to sing. But it’s mostly a daily struggle getting that vision in your head on the page.

I know, because I’m a writer, too.

So I understand there will be days when you're not quite sure how to keep going, or a moment when you know you can’t get any further on your project without a trusted set of fresh eyes on your work.

My heavily bespectacled peepers come with decades of experience, fighting the same battles as you.

My background

And I spent almost ten years working in California politics, too. Talk about spinning stories! Believe me when I tell you, making good art is a much more honest and effective  way to change the world.

Let’s change the world, shall we?

I’ve published poetry, essays, and short stories in magazines and anthologies. I co-wrote a Sony picture. Before that, I wrote an internationally read Mommy-blog.  (Didn’t we all?)

Credentials

I hold a Master’s in Professional Writing from USC, and a BA in English Literature from Yale.

I’m active with the Editor’s Freelance Association, the Women Fiction Writers Association, Sisters In Crime, and I’m a lapsed member of the Writer’s Guild, too.
