Our Guide to Getting Involved in Local Los Angeles Politics

As I’ve been talking to voters throughout this campaign, it’s clear that Angelenos are inspired to get involved in local politics. Civic life in Los Angeles can seem overwhelming because of the size and sprawl of our city. I have found that with a little help and guidance, you can get up to speed on local issues that impact your daily life.

We created this guide to help our community members dive in, no matter where you live in the city, and no matter how you like to consume your news. There's a way for everyone to get comfortable with all the moving parts of our city, whether you enjoy listening to podcasts, subscribing to email blasts, scrolling through social media, or participating in on-the-ground activism.

This list is by no means exhaustive -- and I am always finding new, helpful ways to learn. We will keep updating this list, so feel free to check back often.
