I'm Sarah Kate Levy.

 

I ran for Los Angeles City Council in 2020, on a climate and social-justice platform of housing, transit, and trees.

 

I was endorsed in that race by Congresswomen Katie Porter and Katie Hill.

 

I now work as a fundraising and communications consultant for political campaigns across California.

I've also published essays and short stories, I was the voice behind the internationally-read parenting blog ChecklistMommy, and I co-wrote the movie No Way Jose (Sony Pictures, 2013). I am currently working on an eBook for first time candidates, and still plugging away at my great American novel.
